Week 64: It's 112 degrees in this oven

Heyyy everyone! Hope life is good in the real world. Another week has come and gone and if you asked me what happened I could probably couldn't tell you but I'll definitely try and list some highlights!:

Things to know:
- Yeah so Lewiston is literally the fiery furnace rn. This last week it was over 108 like every single day, and the high was 112. We did less tracting and a lot more contacts so we could blast the AC driving between every contact hahaha. Also may or may not have ran through sprinklers because it was so hot.
- Speaking of church we had like 4 friends come so that was awesome! For some reason people do not want to come to church, probably because its the summer. But our friend Mike Small came again and loved it as usual! We had some friends come in the YSA too! Excited to start finding on campus soon because there will actually be students.
- Had an exchange with Sister Fotu again and it was SO FUN! Literally nobody makes me laugh as hard as she does. Since she is in a trio we can pull her and her companions on little trio exchanges one at a time, so we did that with her! I have never laughed so hard at a member dinner. #...chicken #iykyk
- We also went up to Moscow for their stake breakfast and it was so fun! The zone leaders said we were invited, so we came so we could meet the zone and get to be with the sisters. Because now we just have the one companionship in Moscow and the other in our zone in Clarkston. We were back in time to start our day in Lewiston too so it worked great!
- Some of our members had us over for dinner and they set up their table like Harry Potter and it made me happy. #tendermercies

Stories of the week:
- We put our friend Cissa on date for baptism and she is so awesome! She used to be taught my missionaries and said she had wanted to get baptized but her boyfriend didn't want her to. But now he's in jail so #blessings. Haha just kidding that's not something to celebrate, but our first lesson with her we set her date for August 27th! She is super excited and she already came to church! We have 3 other friends on date but she is definitely the most solid. A couple of weeks ago we sadly dropped our awesome friend Roxanne and our other friend Mike. But its cool to continue finding the prepared and focusing on those who are willing to change!

Spiritual thought:
- Sometimes I run out of creativity for these but here's a quote I wanted to share:

"When obedience ceases to be an irritant and becomes our quest, in that moment God will endow us with power"

I have such a strong testimony of obedience and the happiness that comes from it. I have seen so much more power in my missionary work as I have been obedient. A lot of missionaries just make excuses and don't care about the little things like following safeguards or having their family send them stuff from home; but I know that when we focus on what is most important like following what God wants us to do that we see so many more blessings, and find true happiness:))

Thats all!

Love ya!

Have the best week!

Week 81: How far away is that plane?

Ahhhh. It's a weird feeling writing your last weekly about your last week as a missionary. I have had so many mixed emotions this week. ...
