Week 40: It's halftime baby!

What's poppin everyone! Hope ya'll had a great week, because then that makes two of us (at least)! I'll just get right into it this week:

Things to know:
-Yessir hit my 9 months. Which is actually insane. I swear time isn't real because this has been the fastest 9 months of my life.
- Ken and Maggie set their own date for March 19th after getting priesthood blessings, and I told them that I pictured them in white the first time I met them (true story), and we were all crying.
- Not a ton of other updates, but we did some fun services this week, we demo'd a house and we also installed lights in another one (felt like I was on home makeover or something).

Stories of the week:
-Saw a sweeet miracle: there was one afternoon we were out contacting people, and literally everything was falling through. So I made a joke saying okay where does God ACTUALLY need us to be. I said a quick prayer in my head in a less joking way, and the name "Kristen" came to mind. Whipped out areabook and there was a yellow-dot named Kristen that I had never met before. We of course listened to the prompting and drove across town to visit her, and she was home! We set up a return appointment and made her new, and she also told us she had been praying for us?! GOD IS GOOD PEOPLE!
- Not really a story but was just funny; we did service for a kooky member in Shadle. He had us take down his Christmas decorations, which consisted of garlands strung across upside down crutches in his yard haha. He opens the door telling his dog to come say hi, and I'm convinced this was actually a rat. He picks it up and says "this is Bubby Ruru", because when I come home he says: "ROOROOOROO" lol. That's all.

Spiritual Thought:
Definitely had a lot of reflection this week on the last 9 months of my mission. I am so dang thankful for this experience, and I wouldn't trade the lessons I've learned for the world! So today I just wanted to share some of my testimony :))

I know that Jesus Christ is MY Savior, and that the power of the Atonement is the greatest blessing and strength I have ever been given. I know that God lives, and He is my loving Father in Heaven. I have seen His hand every single day, and I know that He is in the details of our lives. I know that God answers prayers, and that as we humbly seek for direction and answers to our questions, He will give us revelation. I know that the Holy Ghost speaks to us individually and personally, and that as you trust in the promptings you receive that God will bless you to hear His voice even more. I know that this truly is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and that it is can give us the true joy that we seek! I love this gospel, this life, and all my other blessings! In the name of my Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen :))

Honestly could have gone on for a lot longer, but I know that less than half of you will even read that ;)

Love youuu

Week 81: How far away is that plane?

Ahhhh. It's a weird feeling writing your last weekly about your last week as a missionary. I have had so many mixed emotions this week. ...
